A much needed update on my son.

Its been really tough the past few weeks. With MIL in kerala, my maid playing hide-n-seek and turning up only only once in a blue moon, Jason being true to the TERRIBLE TWOism and hubby working late, I nearly end up pulling my hair out by the end of the day. It sounds like fun rite???

The only time I get to do my stuff is when he sleeps. But I also have to prepare dinner and take my bath too... so blogging has been taking a back seat.

Now, since the blog is all about my son, let me update it with what my son has been up to.

Okey.. let me start with the trip we took to Yercard aka 'Poor Man's Ooty'. Its was a very lovely trip, with hubby's ex-colleges and family. The weather was lovely and we actually used a blanket at night. It was that cool. The drive was wonderful and the view was really good. I have the pictures here. There was only one more kid, Mrudula, other than Jason. And he bullied that poor little girl. By the end of the trip, she was scared to even come near Jason.

Jason was down with fever a week back, but still has cold and cough.Hopefully he will get well in a couple of days.At the docs, we checked his height and weight. Its 12kg and 91cm. He is supposed to be 12.5kgs and 84cm tall. I guess its fine.

Jason is trying to talk better now, but still he doesn't speak in full sentences. Only Malayalam words, most of which no one other than me and hubby can understand.

In the evenings we go to the terrace and he loves to play with the other kids there. And since its summer holidays, there are couple of dozens of them there. we spend more than a hour there. There will be other Mom's too, walking, chatting or just there to catch some cool breeze after a very hot day, so I have company too.

Jason can identify colors, like red, blue green and yellow. But only on the flash cards though. And he has a set of toy animals which he loves. He knows which is the lion, tiger, zebra, hippo and rhino. He tries to repeat ABCD after us, but cant pronounce F,G,H.. He is good with the ones that end with and 'eee', like BCDEG.. When it comes to nums he is still stuck to his, two and thee.

He can identify our car anywhere. The day when hubby came to pick us up at the railway station, our car was parked to a one which is the exact model and the same color as ours. Jason went directly to our car, and was trying to get inside it.

He loves cashew nuts and pistachios. He loves to crack open the pistachios by himself. He is still crazy about cheese. But he is very very fuzzy when it comes to eating food. I am just not able to make out what he likes. I surely cant feed him cheese four times a day :o

Even with all this mischief he is the sweetest little darling in this whole world, and I am crazy about that little guy. He knows how to make his mama happy, when she is really depressed and tired. His sweet hug and the wet kisses that he plants on my face just evaporates away all my tiredness.


There is a lot more about him, but not able to recollect, will post later.

You can either be a good boy, and help Mama,

By rolling out dough on the floor with rolling pin,

Or be happy playing Ball,

Or sit on the ball and talk to the wall :)

Or watch your fave rhymes on laptop.

But if that is not fun,

Then try getting into the laundry basket,

Or any box will do.

Or else help mama in kitchen by pulling out everything from the cupboard.
