This, That, Good news and Bad news.
That: Nothing much, life is going on. Republic day was spent at the park and some pending shopping. Had a small flag hosting ceremony at the terrace of the building. That is where I realized that I was singing the national anthem after years, and made quite a lot of mistakes. SHAME ON ME.
**is there anyone else I cane share the shame with?**
Good news: One of my very good friend Naz, who had a ovarian cyst, and was being treated for it, had very few chances of having a baby.( No, that's not the good news..). The good news is, after going through all the treatments and the sadness that accompanied it, she gave birth to a baby boy.I am so happy for her. Its all God's Grace.
Bad news: One of our building mate, Preethi expired today due to cancer. The worst part is she is just 35 and had two kids aged 5 and 10. I was really depressed when I heard the news. She had breast cancer around two years ago, but was treated and was perfectly fine. Last June, it resurfaced and spread throughout the body.
Life is so short. We really should take care of ourselves and and loved ones, and leave the rest to God.

How Safe Is Our Children?
The recent one about this 14-year old girl. Her mother's first cousin and husband would take her to their house every weed ends to stay with them. It was family, so no one had anything to worry about. They visited each others house often and were in good terms. But no one knew that this Aunt and her husband were forcing this girl to have sex with other men. And no one at her house knew about this. Well one day when her Mom took her to the hospital as she had Jaundice, they tested her HIV Positive. Shocked? I was. That is when the parents knew something was wrong. When asked, she told out the whole story, about how her aunt and uncle forced her into prostitution. The police arrested the couple.
Wish that was the end? A week later the girl dies.
I had goosebumps when I heard it.
Another one in kerala. A man is waiting to be hanged to death. His crime? Raping and killing a 4 month old baby girl, 2 year old girl and a 6 year old girl. What is the f***ing pleasure he got by doing so?
How can people be like this? What do you do with these people? I am so angry at present that if I get hold of them, I would cut them in pieces and feed them to dogs.
Its mostly some one in the family who do stuff like this. And the victims are not just girls, boys are also not safe now.
How can we be sure that our children is safe? What should we do? We cant be following our children like a shadow every minute. There are so many people they are going to meet in their life. We cannot run a police check on all of them... right?
So what to do?

Just thinking.
I know, I have been very irregular on my blog. Even if my posts are few, I try to keep up with whats happening in other good blogs. And when yesterday, I read a wonderful comment left by Jonny’s mommy, I was very touched. I just felt wonderful. It is a big boost for me. Please read what this nice lady had written.
All of you must be wondering, why am I so excited. Well, this is the best comment I have ever got on my blog. Its like getting a appraisal on your job at the first month itself. So I just wanted to record and save it. Do I hear someone screaming "SHOW-OFF ! ! ! ! !".
So anyways, this made me think of all the reason’s why I don’t blog enough. Let me see...
1. Firstly, because I am a little lazy. I mean, I am more of a TV person than an Internet person. So whenever I get a little Jason-free time, I try to catch some movie or see the reruns of my favorite serial, F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and Desperate Housewife.

I am a die hard FRIENDS fan, and can watch it n number of times.I actually know all the dialogs by heart. I love Joey, and his How you doin???? I think I can write a post on them later.
2. Secondly, there is nothing much exciting and interesting happening in our life. Other than what Jason is upto and now stuff about our new house, there is nothing much. We don’t know many people here, nor do we have much friends around, as we moved here a year ago. And we actually have not socialised much. I mean, with my Father-in-law’s death and with hubby’s hectic job timings, and all the shuttling we had to do between here and native, we did’nt have much time to socialise or have fun. Now hubby has a 8am to 7pm job, gets Saturday’s and Sunday’s off, but those are the days, we do our weekly shopping and catching up on our lost sleep. We have not even been able to take Jason to a park till now. So you see, there is nothing much to write about.
3. Thirdly and the most important is, that my writing skills are not that good.
That you may have noticed, right?
I am not witty and funny, and cannot play with words. I know English, but not good enough to write. I do read a lot of books though, mostly fictional and romance. I love Sidney Sheldon and Jeffry Archer and many more authors whose name I don't remember at present. But when it comes to writing something interesting, I am lost for words. Words which has more depth or is heavy to digest type.
BTW, is anyone able to understand what I am trying to say????
Actually I have lost touch with my good English, which was really good when I was working for an MNC in Bangalore. I had to deal with US citzens, so we were trained to improve our English and the accent. But after comming to Chennai, its just the occasional, you are cammingg aa??? (are you comming) or you are gaingg aa??? (are you going?) or ok vaa??? (ok?) No offence but very few people speak proper English here. And at home too, we speak Malayalam, our mother-tongue. So other than when my friends call up, or when I don't get the exact words in Malayalam when fighting with hubby, I speak very less English.
So there I am, confessing...
I don't know how to end this post, so all I can say is, maybe when I get a job (hopefully in a good company), I will start speaking good English again. And then I may be able to write good stuff which you guys may like, and would be willing to come back to this poor little sweet girls blog again....
:)
