Thank you God.

On Saturday evening we had actually planned to go to the park with Jason. But by the time everyone woke up from their afternoon slumber, it was already 5.30pm. After tea, and feeding Jason it was almost 6.30pm. That is when we remembered that there was a prayer meeting at a house near us. This prayer group consists of families from different churches, all staying in our locality. So we get-together for a prayer meeting monthly.

Since the Father who was suppose to give the speech, could not reach on time, one of the members there wanted to share his thoughts with us. He started with a question, 'How many of you like Sundays?' Obviously there was unanimous 'Yes'. 'What if the next day was also Sunday?', Majority of us answered 'Yes'. 'What if Tuesday is also a Sunday?'. Now that will be boring. So cutting out rest of the question-answers, the moral of the story was...

If we are happy always, after some time, we will get bored. So we need to have sad and tough days also, so that we can feel the happiness of the good days. And why do we have sad and tough times? So that we pray to God. Call Him to help us and to guide us.

It does not matter which God, its the trust and confidence we have in Him. I know, whatever I have today is His blessing. My parents, who have always supported me, and have been there for me. My sis, she is a nice girl, even though we still fight a lot. My dearest Hubby, who I don't deserve at all. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. He is a very good friend, husband and father. In all, he is a lovely person. My darling son, the apple of my eye, the reason to live. Every time, he smiles or laughs or does something funny, I thank God for this wonderful gift. Every time he is sad or crying in pain, I pray for him, for the pain to go away, and so that my baby is happy and smiling again.

From last two days, Jason has a bad cold and is also coughing a lot. He will happily play around when he is awake. But when he goes to sleep, his nose gets all blocked. And since he sucks his fingers while sleeping, the blocked nose wont let him. Poor thing, he woke up every now and then and cried. He was sleepy, coughing and crying, all at the same time. I just cant see him crying like that. I hope he gets well soon...

p.s: BTW, we did make it to the park on Sunday, but by then Jason had already got fever. And the park was dirty and crowded with people. Not just kids, but walkers, joggers, old people, couples canoodling under the bushes, and poor people who did not have any other place to go. Will have to find some other good park to take Jason.

awwww!

get well soon Jason! :)

Cubby is also going through the same with all the crazy weather changes!

what we do is, you get these green tablets whhich i think have something like nilgiri oil in it. you cut the top and just apply the liquid on his clothes! its very strong, so make sure there is no skin contact. its called Karvol and easily avlbl at all chemists!

you can use it upto 3 times a day tho i use it only at night. i other times i use Rhine nasal drops! they are just salt water drops and helps clear the nose!

better than giving allopathic medicines till you just cant avoid them!!

hope it helps!!

hugs

That is a great post. And so true. I just wrote a column for my paper that said something very similar.

By the way, I have been reading your blog, but I'm having trouble commenting on it from my home computer. So, sometimes I have to wait until I get to work and if I am busy I can't comment. But I do read it. The one day I even commented, but my computer would not register it and it never uploaded to your blog.

So, do not fear. I am here. Even when you do not see me! Hey, thats more like God, though, than a fellow blogger, isn't it?

See you on the blogs!
